MGFA Scholarship Program

MGFA Committment to Agriculture Scholarship Program

The Minnesota Grain and Feed Association has re-established a scholarship program to help college students meet their education's financial obligations. 

Applicants must be the child of a elevator or feed mill employee whose employer is a current MGFA member, in good standing with the Association. The student must be pursuing a degree in agriculture (preference will be given to those pursuing a degree in agribusiness) and have a minimum GPA of 2.75.

The Association awarded three $1,000 scholarships in 2016 to the following individuals: 

Brady Bobendrier - Pipestone - Brady is pursuing a degree in Animal Science at the University of Minnesota.

Katherine Wilts - Kerkhoven - Katherine is pursuing a degree in Ag & Food Business Management at the University of Minnesota.

Elizabeth Wilts - Kerkhoven - Elizabeth is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Communications & Marketing with a Crops & Soils emphasis at the University of Minnesota.
